IT HAS BEEN A WEEK SINCE THE CAMPAIGN ENDED!
Hello DUNGEON DEGENERATES! How's it going? It has been a week since the HAND OF DOOM campaign ended & it's just sinking in - WE HAVE A MANDATE OF DEGENERATION! Playing a demo game of DUNGEON DEGENERATES at Guardian Games in Portland last week - we noted happily - that this is going to be the first game we've designed that will be published & played by thousands of people! MINDBLOWING! Thanks again to everyone who has believed in this project, it really is a dream come true.
We've been spending the last week getting our BACKERKIT pledge manager & add-on shop together & were ready to pull the trigger on it when it said - "Before you launch your BACKERKIT, check the following... WAIT THE RECOMMENDED TWO WEEKS before launching the BACKERKIT." Oh! OK. So anyhow, we're waiting another week until we launch the BACKERKIT, so everyone who has been asking about add-ons, yes, in a week, we'll be launching the entire add-on shop & pledge manager where we can get you sorted! YOU'LL KNOW WHEN IT HAPPENS!
Eric has been working on tightening up the game, adding new mechanics & fiddling with the fiddly bits. I've been drawing new monsters & items & have been working on DUNGEON DEGENERATES wrapping paper for the holiday season! We're going to take a break from our weekly MONSTER DRAWING CLUB & GAME DEMOS at Guardian Games in Portland this week - we'll be back after the holiday.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
Thanks to everyone who backed DUNGEON DEGENERATES - HAND OF DOOM! We took our first weekend off in I don't know HOW LONG. Felt very good. I ended up drawing DUNGEON DEGENERATES monsters that weren't on my "master list" of things to draw. I'm working on the critters that live in the Würstreich. Trying to have as few Terran creatures in the game as possible to really dunk your head under the DEGENERATE WATER & give the gaming world a totally unique feel. Anyhow - man - feels crazy to not be watching the Kickstarter every day! But as I said, this is just the beginning!
Your pledge surveys will be going out this week & we'll be launching our pledge manager via BACKERKIT as well. I'll let you know AS SOON as it happens.
As far as the social media goal goes - the post itself got 527 likes. This isn't cutting it. So then, I look at facebook's total numerical tally deal - it says the post got 1,162 reactions, comments & shares. Still not good enough. So - based on that - you're not getting it. BUT. Because we got such EXTRAORDINARY SUPPORT on our project from YOU - we're going to add the SOCIAL STRETCH GOAL to the game BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT & GOSH DANGIT - WE LIKE YOU PEOPLE.
As far as stretch goals in the pledge manager - I haven't talked to Eric & Katie yet - but I imagine we'll go ahead & add those adventurer miniatures to the deal.
